The Sensex index dropped 1,097.98 points - or 2.69 per cent - to 39,696.76 at the weakest level during the session, and the broader Nifty benchmark dropped to as low as 11,666.30, down 304.75 points - or 2.55 per cent - from its previous close. Analysts say fears of a second wave of infections hurt world markets. -

In a regulatory filing after market hours, the IT major said its revenue increased 3.82 per cent sequentially to Rs 24,570 crore in the quarter ended September 30. Growth in client demand for its digital services during the coronavirus crisis boosted the company's profitability. -
